We had to run a few errands before making it home, and we also both worked that day; so we start putting this thing together at ten o’clock at night. We’ve been together seven months, this is our first real “bonding project”, right? We are drinking Malibu. So me being the anxious person I am, I thought I was gonna get away with being able to just watch him do what he does best; that’s use his hands. BOY WAS I WRONG. THIS DESK COINCIDENTALLY COMES WITH TWO ALLEN WRENCHES. I’m sitting here thinking, “this company knew exactly what they were doing”; and I’m not sure if I love it; or if it made me wanna commit. I digress, we are slightly intoxicated; working hand and hand with each other. The instructions are wonderful. They’re super easy to understand. The only thing I didn’t care for was the order the instructions were in on the paper. There was a lot of bouncing around, but nonetheless, it was simple to do. WE HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST WORKING ON THIS TOGETHER. I’m so serious when I say that. The size I got (the largest one), fits plenty of stuff. The underneath is tall enough to slide things under, the mini fridge fit like a glove. The shelf for the computer is a nice size. I was worried that his wasn’t going to fit at first bc his computer case is really big and thick; but it fit and looks great. For us- the top is big enough for two large monitors, a PlayStation, a cooling fan, his Apple Watch/phone charger/stabs, both pairs of headphones, three remotes, a mouse, a large mic, and a decent sized keyboard; and there’s still room to decorate with pictures, or plushies, or really whatever suits your fancy. We got the color black, and it’s not the cheap ashy black gray; very happy with my purchase and the memories I was able to create.

Pros- easy to put together. It suggests two people, but I did it on my own in about 45 minutes. It’s pretty sturdy, especially if it’s up against a wall. It’s a little shaky on its own without the support of a wall. It looks super nice!
Cons- I noticed as soon as it was assembled that a few of the edges already are showing wear. The color is slightly faded and almost rubbed off. I think my biggest complaint is that it is slightly warped and doesn’t line up with the corner of my office. There is a decent gap between the desk and one wall where the other side lines up perfectly with the wall. We’ll see how my OCD handles this. Yikes.
Overall, for just north of $100, it’s good enough for now.
